Health & Safety

Avoidance of all injuries and maintaining a healthy workforce is a key feature of our company vision.  Incident levels currently show a low level of injurious incidents.  Our overall performance when compared with other similar organisations is considered to be good.  However, our goal remains to have no injuries associated with our operations.

Standards

Health and safety standards are defined in the Health and Safety Systems manual, which recognises established working practices and risk assessments for all our main activities.  New and improved working practices are introduced periodically including recent improvements to control lifting equipment.

Our services have been independantly assessed against the standards and provisions of OHSAS 18001 for health and safety.
